Important Wednesday Info

Wednesday, November 21 The Early Learners are making a special snack together, so please DO NOT pack a fruit break snack for your child.  Also, NO BACKPACKS should be brought to school on Wednesday as we are walking from our campus to Hollins for the luncheon and the students will be dismissed from Hollins.  I will be out on Tuesday and Wednesday travelling to Maine for the holiday.  Cherilyn (Harris' mom) will be our sub.  Please let her know before you take you child home on Wednesday from Hollins.  Have a Happy Thanksgiving!!!

November 14

Tomorrow is Lunch-A-Month and bake sale.  The menu is hot dogs, chips, fruit and a drink.

New Unit on Eating Healthy

This week we are starting a unit on eating healthy and the food groups.  We have been talking about this throughout the Halloween season.  This time of year, we all have food on our minds, so the class with learn how to make good choices about food.

MONSTER MAYHEM!!!!

Today we read monster books, made paint blob monsters, danced the Monster Mash and the Monster Pokey.  At recess, we used the hollow tree stump to make monster stew.  We even wrote our own monster
